An AI-augmented Discord chatbot and a digital assistant that we’ve created to help us manage our day-to-day tasks at Unusual Technologies. We work with Botsworth to book holidays, manage our task scheduling, manage our accounts on a variety of services, and check whose turn it is to pick a recipe for our weekly company lunches.

Case Study
An in-house GPT Discord Bot
It all began with a desire to streamline internal communication and save our programmers’ time. As we do much of our communication on the company’s Discord server, we decided a Discord bot would help us with many small and repetitive day-to-day tasks. Through iterative improvement, we added more and more functionality to it over time, and the chatbot gradually took shape, evolving into a versatile virtual assistant capable of seamlessly handling tasks such as scheduling meetings, delivering updates, and even providing a touch of humour.
Team Effort
The process not only fostered collaboration among team members but also sparked a sense of ownership and pride as the bot became an integral part of the company’s digital ecosystem. Today, Botsworth is helping us with tasks on a daily basis, and adding a delightful touch to the daily interactions of the company’s vibrant Discord community.
